SNP Detection in Transplant Patients

SNP Detection in Transplant Patients

Donor and recipient DNA differ in nucleotide composition at single nucleotide polymorphism (SNP) loci. By measuring the fraction of donor-specific nucleotides at SNP loci in a transplant patient, the fraction of donor-derived cfDNA can be determined.

Separate genotyping of donor or recipient is not required (but may be advised depending on the use case).
