HLA-B57

PN: LC-PD2.9(20) & LC-PD2.9(50)

Screen for the presence of HLA-B*57:01 by PCR with B*57 allele group specific PCR primers followed by sequencing of positive PCR’s. Alternatively, use for high resolution HLA-B*57 typing following Olerup SBT HLA-B.

PCR Amplification:
5’UTR – Intron 3.
Internal control amplicon.

Sequencing strategy:
Forward sequencing primer for exon 1.
Forward and reverse sequencing primers for exons 2 and 3.
Exon 3 HARP to resolve all B*57 ambiguities.
